Is that another rock chip?! I-15 construction help.
It feels like this I-15 construction will never end. Seriously. I know it’s going to be nice once it’s done but driving in it now is not fun. They have potholes the size of Mini Coopers! And instead of fixing them they put signs that say, “watch for potholes”. Fix them!
I found something that might make everyones commute easier. I-15 Core has a twitter account for live road condition updates. Follow them. Their website has lots of good information to help with the summer road trips.
While you navigate through the potholes you may start noticing some rock chips on your windshield and hood of your car. Go down to Nissan of Orem and talk to Manny in accessories about getting a Clear Bra installed. He has a couple different options to choose from to protect your car.
Safe travels.
How to jump start a car battery
If it hasn’t happened to you, it will. You forgot to turn your lights off when you when you got home. The temperature outside is -20. Or your battery is just plain old (anything over 4 years old needs to be checked out).
All of these things can cause your battery to be dead when you go to start your car. It can be extremely frustrating, especially when it started just fine yesterday!
Our friends at cnet have done a great job at showing you what to do to make sure you jump it properly.
If you need a new battery take it to Nissan of Orem. They have the knowledge and a nice waiting room. Free wifi too!
Enjoy!

Gas prices starting to change cars’ value
We’ve known for a while that better mpg cars are the way to go. Unfortunately some people need more space so they need an SUV. With gas prices not going down anytime soon it makes sense that having a good mpg car should be worth more.
If you have an older car that gets good mpg now might be the time to start thinking about an upgrade. Dealers are paying more for those used cars then ever before. With so many incentives on new vehicles including: 0% financing, 3 years scheduled maintenance for free, free tires, etc. hard to not take them up on it.
Cheers!
